USCIS Fee Increase Blocked 2020

USCIS fees were supposed to increase today, October 2, 2020. This increase included citizenship application by 83%, employment based petition by 76%, green card application (adjustment of status) by an additional $1045, and more. It would have impacted many immigrants. However, a District Court judge in California blocked this rule nationwide on September 29th. This injunction is temporary until there is a final decision.
